Guild Road Notes is an independent editorial site about fantasy role-playing games you can play online — most of them in a browser tab, a few with a clearly marked download. It is a small project with a narrow focus: seven games, three field guides and a handful of honest answers.
Why a road
Choosing an online RPG is less about which game is best and more about which one fits your days. A road with stops is a natural way to show that. The early stops ask little of you; the later ones ask for whole evenings or months. You can stop wherever the road suits you.
Who writes it
The site is written and maintained by a small editorial team. We sign our work as "the editorial team" rather than with personal names, because the pages are collective and are revised together.
What we do not do
- We do not host, sell or distribute games.
- We do not accept payment for a place on the road.
- We do not use affiliate links or tracking on outgoing links.
- We do not publish star ratings, invented statistics or user reviews.
